Award-winning Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah, best known for his breakout role as child soldier Agu in the 2015 film Beasts of No Nation alongside Idris Elba, has graduated from Tufts University in Massachusetts, United States.
Attah announced the milestone on Monday, sharing photos from the graduation ceremony on Instagram. The 24-year-old actor was seen in traditional academic regalia, proudly wearing a colorful kente sash over his gown, and posed with family members and fellow graduates.

Born on July 2, 2001, in Ghana, Attah rose to international prominence at age 13 for his powerful performance in Beasts of No Nation, earning the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at the Venice Film Festival. He has since appeared in films such as Spider-Man: Homecoming while balancing his acting career with higher education.
In his social media post, Attah reflected simply on the achievement: “It all worked out.” The graduation marks a significant chapter in his journey from a young talent discovered in Ghana to a university graduate.
