Head coach Carlos Queiroz believes no team is perfect and Ghana must exploit any vulnerabilities in Colombia during Friday’s high-stakes Round of 32 match.
He stressed the importance of sticking to Ghana’s own approach while identifying and capitalizing on any openings in the opponents’ setup.
“What we have to do is to play our game and measure our strengths against the weak areas that Colombia might have. There are no perfect teams so we will look to explore their weaknesses too. We have to be strong in our play and in mentality. It is going to be a great game regardless of the result,” Queiroz said.
He added that the Black Stars “need to shine tomorrow” in what he described as a contest between two strong but imperfect sides.
