Medeama Sporting Club are the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League champions. The Tarkwa-based side secured the title with a 5-2 victory over Heart of Lions in their penultimate match at T&A Park.
The result puts the championship mathematically beyond reach of second placed Bibiani Gold Stars. With one fixture remaining, Medeama can no longer be caught at the top of the table.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s men dominated the encounter, scoring five goals in a clinical attacking display. Heart of Lions replied with two goals but could not stem the flow.
This marks Medeama’s second league title in recent years and earns them a place in next season’s CAF Champions League. They will now complete their campaign as champions.
