Assistant Coach Desmond Offei will lead the Black Stars in their international friendly against Mexico on Friday in Puebla, as Head Coach Carlos Queiroz is absent for personal reasons.
Offei, who has overseen the team’s preparations since arriving in Mexico, will be assisted by goalkeepers’ trainer Daniel Gaspar and set-piece coach/video analyst Gregory De Grauwe.
The match serves as part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the Black Stars have been drawn against Panama, England, and Croatia in the group stage.
