The United States has removed the visa bond requirement for all eligible players, coaches, and support staff from the 48 participating nations at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The waiver, announced by the U.S. Department of State, applies to team members who meet standard U.S. entry requirements. It allows smoother travel and preparation for the tournament co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The move is designed to ensure participating teams from Africa, Europe, South America, and elsewhere face fewer logistical hurdles as they finalize squads and travel plans for the expanded competition.
