GFA Empowers Female Coaches with CAF Licence ‘C’ Programme
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially opened an All-Female CAF Licence ‘C’ Coaching Course at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram.
The programme brings together 30 aspiring and active female coaches from across the country. It is being organised in partnership with FIFA Women’s Development through the Coach Education Scholarship initiative.

Participants will receive intensive training in technical skills, leadership, player development, and modern coaching methods. This course is part of the GFA’s Ghana Women’s Football Strategy to increase female representation in coaching and build a sustainable talent pipeline.

GFA Women’s Football Development Officer Jennifer Amankwa Sarpong emphasised the need to create more opportunities for women in technical roles.
The opening was attended by Dr Gifty Oware Mensah, Women’s Representative on the GFA Executive Council.
