Ghana Forward Felix Afena-Gyan Signs for Turkish Club Iğdır FK

Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan has completed a move to Turkish club Iğdır FK, continuing his football career in Turkey after leaving Italian football.

The transfer sees the 23-year-old attacker take on a new challenge as he looks to revive his career and secure regular playing opportunities in the Turkish league.

Afena-Gyan rose to prominence during his time at AS Roma, where he made his senior debut and scored a memorable brace against Genoa in Serie A in 2021. His performances earned him recognition as one of Ghana’s promising young talents and led to his senior international debut.

He later moved to US Cremonese before spending time away from Italy, with the latest transfer to Iğdır FK providing him with an opportunity to establish himself in Turkish football.

The Ghana international will be hoping to make a strong impact at his new club and rediscover the form that initially brought him into the spotlight.
