Aduana FC Appoint Samuel Boadu as New Head Coach on Three-Year Deal

Aduana FC have moved swiftly to strengthen their technical setup by appointing Samuel Boadu as the club’s new head coach.

The 40-year-old Ghanaian tactician, widely known as “Kofi Yesu,” has signed a three-year deal with the Ogya Boys. He takes over from Romanian coach Aristica Cioaba following the club’s mid-table finish in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

Boadu arrives in Dormaa with a solid reputation built on notable achievements. He masterminded Accra Hearts of Oak’s memorable domestic double in the 2020/21 campaign, claiming both the league title and the MTN FA Cup. He has also enjoyed productive spells at Medeama SC and previously served as assistant coach with Ghana’s U-20 national team, the Black Satellites. His most recent role at Berekum Chelsea saw him steady the ship during a demanding season.

Aduana FC ended the just-concluded league season in ninth position with 52 points from 34 matches. The Dormaa outfit last won the Ghana Premier League title in 2017 and have been eager to regain their competitive edge.

In a warm welcome message shared on the club’s platforms, Aduana FC stated: “A new chapter begins. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Samuel Boadu as our new Head Coach. Welcome to the Ogya Family, Coach.”

Boadu is expected to hit the ground running, overseeing squad assessment and pre-season planning in the coming days.

The appointment reinforces Boadu’s growing profile as one of the country’s most capable home-grown coaches.
