Manchester City Women Seal Historic Domestic Double with 4-0 FA Cup Triumph
Manchester City Women cruised to a 4-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup final, securing their fourth title in the competition and their first domestic double alongside the Barclays Women’s Super League crown.
Khadija “Bunny” Shaw opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a header. Captain Alex Greenwood added a second just before half-time with a curled free-kick. Substitutes Aoba Fujino (66′) and Vivianne Miedema (87′) completed the rout in front of nearly 44,000 fans.

The result marks City’s first Women’s Super League and FA Cup double, their first FA Cup win since 2020, and caps a dominant season under manager Andrée Jeglertz. Brighton, in their first-ever final, were unable to match City’s control and clinical finishing.
