Media Accreditation Window Opens for TotalEnergies WAFCON Morocco 2026

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially opened the media accreditation application window for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026.

The window will remain open until Wednesday, 17 June 2026. Media professionals wishing to cover the tournament are encouraged to apply as soon as possible via the official CAF Media Channel. Applications must contain accurate personal information that exactly matches official identification or passport details. Incomplete or incorrect submissions will be rejected, and no late applications will be accepted according to CAF.

The expanded 16-team tournament is scheduled to take place from 25 July to 16 August 2026 in the cities of Casablanca, Fez, and Rabat. It will also serve as a qualifier for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, with the top four teams securing direct qualification and two others advancing to inter-confederation play-offs.

Accreditation is mandatory for access to stadiums, training sessions, and official events. Successful applicants will be notified in due course.

For full details and to submit an application, visit the CAF Media Hub at www.cafonline.com/media/.

This will be Morocco’s third consecutive hosting of the WAFCON, further cementing the North African nation’s prominent role in the development of women’s football across the continent.
